From Up-State New York-NYS Thruwav- (Commercial Vehicles) to Major Deegan Expressway South. Exit at 155th Street Bridge-make a right on the 155th Street Bridge and stay to the right-bear right off the 155th Street Bridge. Go straight to Broadway and turn left. Take Broadway to 145th Street and turn right-go downhill one block and cross-Riverside Drive. Stop at the Park Ranger/Park Police Booth at entrance to Riverbank State Park.
From Up-State NY-NYS Thruway (Non-Commercial Vehicles)
Deegan Expressway South. Saw Mill River Parkway South. After toll plaza, look for Riverside Drive Exit. Exit South on Riverside. Take Riverside Drive South to 145th Street. Turn right at 145th Street and enter Riverbank State Park. Stop at Park Ranger/Park Police Booth at entrance.
From New Jersey - take George Washington Bridge to Henry Hudson Parkway
South (West Side Highway South) Exit onto Riverside Drive and go South on Riverside Drive to 145th Street. Turn right at 145th Street and stop at Park Ranger/Park Police Booth at entrance to Riverbank State Park.
From Long Island-Whitestone Bridge or Throgs Neck Bridge.to Cross Bronx Expressway West to Henry Hudson Parkway Exit South. Exit onto Riverside Drive and go South on Riverside Drive to 145th Street. Turn right at 145th Street and stop at Park Ranger/Park Police Booth at entrance to Riverbank State Park.
From Lover Manhattan
Take Westside Highway North, exit at 125th Street. Turn right on 125th Street and go to Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and go to 145th Street. Turn left onto 145th Street and go one block. Park Entrance is at Riverside Drive and 145th Street. Stop at Park Ranger/Park Police Booth. -

From the Bronx-Cross-town Bx.#19 Bus to Riverbank State Park. From Manhattan-Bus # 11 goes directly into Riverbank State Park

Westside IRT #1 Train to 145th Street and Broadway.
Parking: There are no public parking facilities at Riverbank State Park. Special arrangements can be made for buses -bringing groups to the park.

Directions to Metropolitan Oval (Occasional Home Soccer Games)
Metropolitan Oval is located in the Ridgewood neighborhood of Queens, NY. The Oval stands on the corner of 60th Street and 60th Court. It is located on the north side of Metropolitan Avenue surrounded by Forest and Eliot Avenues.
By Car from Queensboro Bridge (59th Street)
Take Queensboro (59th Street) Bridge into Queens Blvd and proceed to 69th Street. Turn right onto 69th Street. Continue on 69th Street to Grand Avenue. Make a right turn onto Grand Avenue. Proceed on Grand Avenue and at the fork bear left onto Flushing Avenue. Continue on Flushing Avenue to 60th Street. Make a left turn onto 60th Street. Pass 60th Avenue, 60th Road, 60th Drive, look for the light stanchions on your right and stop before 60th Court. The field is on your right side.
By Car from Midtown Manhattan
Take Midtown Tunnel to Long Island Expressway (Route 495) and proceed to Maurice Avenue Exit (17E-W). At Maurice Avenue make a right turn. Proceed to 57th Place. Make left unto 57th Place (Clinton Diner). Proceed to stop sign. Make left turn onto Rust Street. Continue on Rust Street through Grand Avenue intersection. Cross over Flushing Avenue and bear left to 59th Drive. Continue on 59th Drive to first traffic light. Make right turn onto 60th Street. Pass 60th Avenue, 60th Road, 60th Drive, look for the light stanchions on your right and stop before 60th Court. The field is on your right side.
By Subway
Take the M train to the last stop Middle Village which is located on Metropolitan Avenue. Walk west ten blocks along Metropolitan Avenue to 60th Street. Walk north on 60th Street to 60th Court. Look for light stanchions on the left. Field entrance is on the left.

Belt Parkway to exit 13N ( Rockaway Parkway).
When you get off the Highway Exit, make a Right Turn at the stoplight.
Go to Seaview Avenue & make a Right Turn.
Go to the end of the building complexes, the entrance of American Legion Field is on the Right. (Parking is available in the lot).

DIRECTIONS....
DRIVING: FDR Drive to Exit Three...Take Montgomery Street to the Service Road to East River Park
SUBWAY: Take the V, F, J, M, Z to Delancey/Essex Street and walk East towards the FDR Drive & East River Park.
BUS: Take the M14 Lower East Side Grand Street/ FDR Drive Bus to the last stop on FDR Drive, then proceed north on FDR Drive until they reach the foot bridge on Delancey Street.

Take the IRT #7 Flushing subway from either Times Square or Grand Central to the Shea Stadium / Willets Point Station. The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is about a three-minute walk down the ramp from the station.

FROM NEW YORK CITY:
Take the Triborough Bridge to the Grand Central Parkway (East). Travel approximately three miles until the I-678/RT-25A E/Northern Blvd exit -- toward the Whitestone Bridge (it's exit #9E). Then take the RT-25A E/Northern Blvd ramp toward Shea Stadium. At the exit ramp, make a right onto Stadium Road. Take that road straight until the second stop sign, where you will then take a left. The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center will be located on your right.
FROM BROOKLYN:
Take the Jackie Robinson Parkway to the Grand Central Parkway (West). Travel three miles toward the Triboro Bridge, exit at the Flushing Meadows/Corona Park/Tennis Center (it's exit #9P). At the end of the exit ramp make a left. Then at stop sign make a right onto Meridan Road. The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is located on your right.
FROM LONG ISLAND:
Take the Long Island Expressway/I-495W to exit number 22A, which is the Grand Central Parkway (West). Travel half a mile toward the Triboro Bridge, exit at the Flushing Meadows/Corona Park/Tennis Center (it's exit #9P). At the end of the exit ramp make a left. Then at stop sign make a right onto Meridan Road. The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is located on your right.

FROM CONNECTICUT:
Take I-95 South toward NYC. Get on the Hutchinson Pkwy South (it's exit #14) to the Whitestone Bridge, and go over the bridge. Bear right on the Whitestone Expwy toward the Van Wyke Expwy, but before the Van Wyke, exit at College Point Blvd. At the first light make a left onto College Point Blvd. Take College Point Blvd. to Avery Avenue, and make a left onto Avery Avenue. Go to the corner stop sign and make a right. Follow that road until you get to a stop sign and make another right. Go straight and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is located on your left.
FROM NORTHERN NEW JERSEY:
Take the George Washington Bridge toward the Major Deegan Expwy/Albany/Queens/I-87 exit (it's exit #1C). Follow the Major Deegan Expwy South approximately six miles over the Triborough Bridge and continue on the Grand Central Parkway (East). Travel approximately three miles until the I-678/RT-25A E/Northern Blvd exit -- toward the Whitestone Bridge (it's exit #9E). Then take the RT-25A E/Northern Blvd ramp toward Shea Stadium. At the exit ramp, make a right onto Stadium Road. Take that road straight until the second stop sign, where you will then take a left. FROM STATEN ISLAND/SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY:
Take the Verrazzano Bridge toward the Grand Central Parkway East/La Guardia Aiport/Astoria Blvd-East exit (it's exit #39). Follow the Brooklyn–Queens Expwy to the Grand Central Parkway (East) and travel approximately three miles until the I-678/RT-25A E/Northern Blvd exit -- toward the Whitestone Bridge (it's exit #9E). Then take the RT-25A E/Northern Blvd ramp toward Shea Stadium. At the exit ramp, make a right onto Stadium Road. Take that road straight until the second stop sign, where you will then take a left.
