The John Jay College of Criminal Justice sports medicine department is committed to providing the best care to all Bloodhound student-athletes.

The head athletic trainer coordinates and oversees the sports medicine services provided to approximately 150 student-athletes at the college.

This department is responsible for evaluating all athletic injuries, administering first aid and CPR care, and preventing and rehabilitating athletic injuries that occur during the season as well as making medical referrals when appropriate..

The sports medicine facility is located in room 304 of the “T” building and is equipped with a taping and first aid station, treatment and modality tables, hydrotherapy whirlpools, and rehabilitative equipment.
