Box Score The women's volleyball team was eliminated from the ECAC Postseason Tournament when they fell to FDU Florham, 3-1 (25-9, 25-14, 21-25, 25-18), in the quarterfinals on Saturday night in Frostburg, MD. The Bloodhounds end the season with an overall record of 19-13, their best finish in program history.
Junior
Brittany Steele recorded with a game-high 17 kills and eight digs. The outside hitter finishes the year with 405 kills, the most in a single-season in program history. Junior

Brianna Geraldo finished with a team-high 14 digs. Sophomore
Kimberly Rodriguez registered her fourth double-double of the season with a team-high 28 assists and 10 digs. Freshman

Mballou Berete had a team-high two service aces and sophomore
Mirialis Almanzar totaled six blocks.
In the first set, FDU started by taking seven of the first nine points. With the Bloodhounds trailing 9-5, FDU Florham ended the set on a 16-4 run to lead 1-0. The first nine points of the second set went back-and-forth as FDU led 5-4. FDU followed on a 7-1 run to go up by seven. John Jay responded with five straight points. With the Bloodhounds down 17-14, FDU registered eight straight to take a 2-0 advantage.
John Jay jumped out to an early 3-1 lead in the third. FDU followed with five unanswered but the Bloodhounds quickly cut the deficit to one. With John Jay down by one, the Bloodhounds went on a 7-3 run to go up 15-12. John Jay ended the period taking four of the final six points to cut the deficit to 2-1. In the fourth, the Bloodhounds held a 6-5 advantage. FDU responded on a 7-1 run but John Jay recorded four straight to cut the deficit to 12-11. FDU broke open the set on a 9-3 run to take the set and match.
John Jay totaled 34 kills, 30 assists, 13 total blocks, three service aces, and 62 digs.
This match turned out to be the final one of
