ABOUT JOHN JAY COLLEGE BASEBALL


Thank you for your interest in John Jay College baseball.
 
We are a program rich in tradition and we pride ourselves in “old school” values. This program acts and plays (on and off the field) with the utmost class, character and respect. We play the game the way it was meant to be played and we carry ourselves  as representatives of our families, our program, our department and our college.
 
Our charity work, community and public service are well known throughout New York City. Our service for the college community is noteworthy. We accept nothing less. Our academic standard will never be compromised, we monitor your academic progress regularly with academic progress reports from your professors.We are a complete, totally committed program. We only have fall tryouts (see the requirements in tryout information). We have year-round study halls. We have lifting, running, throwing and nutritional offseason programs. We travel to Florida to start our season in February / March, and we play an NCAA maximum 40 game schedule in the spring. We have sponsorships from Adidas, Oakley and Akadema. Our home games are at MCU Park (home of the Brooklyn Cyclones). We travel to all games together by van or bus. And we have a fundraising dinner honoring local and national MLB figures. This program is for “BASEBALL PLAYERS” who strive to reach their athletic, academic and personal best. We wear our pride 24/7/365, always carrying ourselves with maturity and respect .
