The women's basketball team fell to Wilkes University, 59-53, in the consolation game of the 13th Annual Moravian Winter Classic. The Bloodhounds drop to 3-8 (1-3 in CUNYAC) on the season while the Colonels improve to 2-7.

Aneska Tejada led the Bloodhounds in scoring with 10 points each. Tejada also picked up five rebounds, two blocks, and one steal. Senior
Jamecia Forsythe registered a game-high 13 rebounds to go along with seven points, three assists, two steals, and one block. Junior
Tyana Hale added seven points, seven rebounds, and a game-high five assists. Freshman Tiffany Rodriguez had nine points and junior
Amanda Jimenez finished with seven points and eight rebounds.
Elena Stambone led the way for the Lady Colonels with a game-high 19 points. Chelsea Brown recorded nine points and a game-high four steals.
"I like how our team responded in the first half after yesterday's rough performance," head coach
Diane Ramirez said. "We have two important conference games next week and we need to be prepared for them."
For her efforts over the weekend, Forsythe was named to the All-Tournament team.
The Bloodhounds will head to Brooklyn on Tuesday, January 7 to face Medgar Evers at 6:00pm.
