Centerville, MA - After being named CUNYAC Defender of the Week, John Jay's men soccer goalkeeper
Vitecha Kochaon added another award to his impressive week.
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced that Kochaon was selected as the ECAC Defender of the Week for the week ending September 30.
The ECAC honors the outstanding athletic achievements of student-athletes representing ECAC schools in Division I, II and III.

Flushing, NY - John Jay's men's soccer goalkeeper
Vitecha Kochaon has been named the CUNYAC Defender of the Week for the week ending September 29.
Over two games for the week, the California native recorded 15 saves and a shutout as the Bloodhounds went 2-0 in conference play. During a close 1-0 victory over CCNY, he notched 3 saves and the shutout. Versus York, the junior made 12 saves as John Jay went on to win 3-2.
"V was big for us in net last week," head coach
Nathan Bell said. "He has worked really hard in practice and the results are paying off."
The Bloodhounds have two conference games this week against CSI and Lehman.
