FAQs
WHO CAN JOIN THE BLOODHOUNDS CLUB?
Anyone interested in supporting John Jay Athletics may join the Bloodhounds Club. Many of our donors attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice, but you are not required to be an alumni to show your support—we welcome all fans to become a part of the Bloodhounds Club family.
Â
IF I GIVE TO A SPECIFIC TEAM, DO ALL OF THE FUNDS SUPPORT THAT TEAM?
Gifts can be designated for a specific varsity sport program and will be used to fund the highest priority for that program, as determined by the head coach and Director of Athletics. However, ten percent of each gift made to a specific team will support the general Athletics fund.
Â
IS MY GIFT TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?
Gifts to the Bloodhounds Club are considered contributions to the College and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of state and federal laws. We recommend that you consult with your tax and/or legal counsel for more information about the tax benefits of your gifts.
Â
IF I GIVE TO THE BLOODHOUNDS CLUB, WILL I STILL BE SOLICITED FOR THE ANNUAL FUND AND OTHER JOHN JAY NEEDS?
Yes, the Bloodhounds Club serves as just one of the many ways gifts can be made to John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
