Rich Anastasi is in his second season as the pitching coach for the Bloodhounds. 

Coach Anastasi will be responsible for handling the John Jay pitching staff. After a successful playing career at Fordham University, this will be his first collegiate coaching experience.  He will assist coach Mandile with all day-to-day activities both on and off the field and recruiting.

He comes to the Upper West Side after a successful four-year playing career at Division I Fordham University. He is currently Fordham's career appearances leader with 93. In his four years, the lefty went 10-9, logged 174.1 innings, struck out 157, registered a 3.56 ERA, and recorded nine saves.
