New York, N.Y.-- The John Jay women's swimming and diving teams fell to Hunter College on Thursday evening as the Bloodhounds fall to the Hawks 66-38 on Thursday evening.
The Bloodhounds are now 3-2 (2-2 CUNYAC) this season.
Lorraine Virgilio (Woodside, NY/ Riverbend) came away with a win in the 200 Individual Medley (2:32.61), while Katelyn O'Shea (Union, NJ/ Union) claimed first place in the 100 free (1:09.22). O'Shea finished second in the 50 free (30.67), while Virgilio placed second in the 1000 free (13:26.57). Virgilio also finished second in the 100 breast (1:22.77).
Kelly Calderon (Bronx, NY/ St. Catherine Academy) placed second in the 100 fly (1:33.77).
The team will return to action on Thu. Jan. 18, 2007 against Baruch College at 6 p.m. at the John Jay Pool.
