Staten Island, N.Y.— The John Jay women’s tennis team finished the deal on Friday as they defeated the College of Staten Island, 6-3, in a continuation of Tuesday’s conference quarterfinal round match which was halted due to darkness. Up 4-2 after singles play, needing just one point the Bloodhounds won at first and second doubles. Daisy Rivera and Elizabeth Cyran won at first doubles 8-2, while Pamela Moreno and Ariadna DiFabrizio won at second doubles 8-1. John Jay will now face Hunter College in a semifinal round match, Sunday at 3 p.m. at the National Tennis Center.
