Rifle Team Defeats Hofstra University

Uniondale, N.Y.-- The John Jay rifle team got off to a strong beginning for the 2007-08 season as the Bloodhounds defeated Hofstra University 1952-1161 in a small bore match on Saturday afternoon.
 
Steven Wilson (Freeport, NY / Freeport) fired a team best 556 in the winning effort.
 
John Jay, now 1-0 returns to action on Sat. Oct. 13 at Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
