Akron, Oh. — The John Jay rifle team defeated two of four teams at the University of Akron over the weekend as the Bloodhounds fired a 1992 in small bore and a 2076 in air rifle to go .500. John Jay defeated Virginia Military Institute Mixed and Indiana University of Pennsylvania and lost to University of Akron and Virginia Military.
Jennifer Levy (Buenos Aries, Argentina / Syosset Senior) scored a 468, while Mike Gorini (Brooklyn, NY / Xavier) earned a 443. Jordan Tefft (Corinth, NY / Corinth) recorded a 380 for the Bloodhounds.
Wilson once again drilled a team-high in air rifle firing a 542, while Ema Andritoiu (Brooklyn, NY / James Madison) scored a 535. Gordeychuk scored a 517, while Levy earned a 462.
