The John Jay women's basketball team controlled the paint out scoring Brooklyn College inside 50-24 as the Bloodhounds go gate-to-wire in 77-63 win over Brooklyn College in the quarterfinal round of the 2007 Con Edison City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) women's basketball championship. Lashannen Hogue poured in a team-high 25 points and a game-high 22 rebounds in the win, while Melissa Escalera added 22 points and 14 rebounds. John Jay, who set a program record with their 18th win of the season, will face Lehman College in the semifinal round on Tue.
