Philadelphia, Pa. --- The John Jay rifle team fired a season low 1960 in small bore, but was good enough to defeat Loyola who shot a 1908. Penn State University fired a 2113 to take the lead at the 2007 Mid Atlantic Conference sectional hosted by the Univ. of the Sciences. The Bloodhounds also shot a 2127 in air rifle falling to Penn State by nine points as the Nittany Lions cranked a 2136. Individual scores are not available at this point. The United States Military Academy will shoot next week at the sectional.
