John Jay’s women’s tennis match against Lehman College on Friday afternoon was suspended due to darkness. The Bloodhounds and Lightning are tied 4-4. Daisy Rivera (Bronx, NY / HS of Law, Gvt. and Justice) and Ariadna DiFabrizio (Mendoza, Argentina / Cobble Hill) both picked up a pair of wins. Rivera won in first flight action, while DiFabrizio earned a win at No. 3. The duo teamed together for a No. 1 doubles win. Elizabeth Cyran (Wood Ridge, NJ / Paramus Catholic) also picked up a win at No. 2 singles. Stephanie Pierre (Brooklyn, NY / Clara Barton) at No. 5 is the only match uncompleted. Her match was halted as she was tied in a super tiebreaker set.
