Rifle Team Cruises Past Massachusetts Maritime

Buzzad Bay, Mass. --- The John Jay rifle team fired a 2198 in air rifle and it was well more than enough as the Bloodhounds defeated Massachusetts Maritime in air rifle and small bore on Saturday afternoon. John Jay fired a 2143 in small bore, while its opponents fired a 1884 in small bore and 1979 in air rifle.

In air rifle, Stephen Wilson fired a team-high 573, while Jenna Hansen put up a 567. Stephen Zawislak recorded a 554 and Fiorella Villar a 504. Newcomer Yizzel Sanchez scored a 492.

In small bore the Bloodhounds were led by Wilson with a 570, while Zawislak had a 557. Hanson had a 516 and Villar a 500.
