Women's Tennis Loses to Brooklyn College, 8-1

Jamaica, N.Y.— The John Jay women’s tennis team was defeated at home Saturday afternoon as the Bloodhounds were defeated by Brooklyn College, 8-1, at the York College Tennis Complex.
 
Elizabeth Cyran was a winner at No. 1 singles as she dueled with Brooklyn’s Ruth Perez for nearly two hours, long after the other matches were completed. Cyran won the match 6-3, 4-6, 7-6. She improved to 4-4 overall this season.
 
John Jay returns to action on Tue. Oct. 6 at Medgar Evers College at 4 p.m.
