Softball Earns Conference Win with Victory over Brooklyn College

Brooklyn, N.Y.— The John Jay softball team defeated Brooklyn College 15-5 in a conference match up on Thursday.
 
Alyce Miraglia (Lindenwood, NY / Stella Maris) was 3-for-3 in the contest with three runs, while Marina Gomez (Bronx, NY / DeWitt Clinton) was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs. Arlene Pena (Bronx, NY / Lehman) was 2-for-3 with a run, a double and three runs batted in.
 
The Bloodhounds scored 15 runs in the first three innings and led 15-0 after 2 1/2 innings.
 
Angela Lam (Brooklyn, NY / Newtown) earned the win going five innings and allowing five runs on five hits.
