Baseball Cruises to Victory over Polytechnic

The John Jay baseball team picked up a non conference win as the Bloodhounds defeated Polytechnic University, 16-6, at Floyd Bennett Field on Tuesday. Anthony Cestaro and Luis Guzman had four hits each and were both a homerun shy of batting for the cycle, while Johan Abad recorded four singles. Nico Rivera picked up the win after pitching two shutout innings, allowing one hit and striking out one.The Bloodhounds return to action on Sat. Apr. 5 for a home doubleheader against Lehman starting at noon.
