The John Jay baseball team closed out its 2008 conference schedule with a win on Sunday afternoon as the Bloodhounds defeated the City College of New York (CCNY) 9-5 at Kingsborough Community College. Johan Abad and Xavier Perez had three hits each while Luis Guzman went 2-for-2 with two walks and two runs. Statistics will be posted as soon as possible. John Jay returns to action on Tue. Apr. 29 for its final home game of the season, a single game against the College of Mount Saint Vincent, 3:30 p.m. at Legion Field.
