Flushing, N.Y.— The John Jay men's tennis team upped its current winning streak to six games after coasting to an 8-1 win over York College in the 2009 home regular season finale at the National Tennis Center.

With the win, John Jay is now 9-3 (6-2 CUNYAC).

The Bloodhounds won at all three doubles matches including 8-0 victories at first and third doubles, while John Jay was an 8-2 winner at second doubles.

At second doubles Rogelio Gutierrez was a 6-0, 6-0 winner. Tt No.1, Dong Shao was a 6-1, 6-0 winner, so to was Tim Smith at No.5.

John Jay returns to action on Sat. Apr. 25 at Ramapo Coe at 1 p.m.
