Jamaica, N.Y. --- The John Jay women's tennis team was defeated on the road as they were defeated by York College, 7-2, at the York College Tennis Complex on Thursday afternoon. Seidron Snipe (Bronx, NY, County Prep) was a winner at second singles, and along with Ashley Marrero (Bronx, NY, Lehman) was a winner at first doubles. John Jay, now 0-4 (0-2 CUNYAC), return to action on Sat. Sept. 12 at Farmingdale State at noon.
