The John Jay College of Criminal Justice women's tennis team was defeated by New York City Tech 5-4 at the York College Tennis Complex on Tuesday afternoon. Ashley Marrero (Bronx, NY, Lehman) was a winner at first singles, while Seidron Snipe (Bronx, NY, County Prep) was victorious at second singles. The two combined for a win at first doubles. Jessica Rodriguez (Brooklyn, NY, Fashion) was a winner at fifth singles. It was the first NCAA win for all three players. John Jay returns to action on Thu. Sept. 10 at York College at 3:30 p.m.
