Maspeth, N.Y. - Despite holding the Dolphins scoreless in the first half, the Bloodhounds couldn't hold on, falling 1-0 in their final home contest.

In the first half, the Bloodhounds were on the offensive, tallying 10 shots while limiting Staten Island to four shots. John Jay lost some momentum at the begining of the second half, allowing the Dolphins to get good looks on goal, resulting in the game winner at 61:25.
CSI's goal was scored by Demi-Jean Martorano, who knocked Paige Buono's centering pass in the corner of the net to make the score 1-0.
John Jay outshot Staten Island, getting 15 shots off, as opposed to the Dolphins 13. For the Bloodhounds,
Alexis Ochoa led the team with six shots, one on goal while
Jennifer Gomez and
Stephanie Ibarra each had two shots. Goalkeeper

For Staten Island, Buono finished the day with four shots, one on goal and one assist while goalkeeper Danielle McLaughlin earned a shutout while having three saves.
