Brooklyn, N.Y. - With two goals from freshman M. Nasim Allah Morad, the Bloodhounds capped off a dominiating performance to earn another CUNYAC win, beating Brooklyn 2-0.
John Jay is now 6-8-2 (3-4-2 CUNYAC) while Brooklyn fell to 2-10-2 (1-6-1 CUNYAC) on the season.
Allah Morad scored his first goal at 20:38 with assists from
Steven Castillo and
Jason Walker. Halfway through the second half, Allah Morad struck again, this time with help from Walker and
Kareem Roberts.
The Bloodhounds dominiated the game, tallying 24 shots, 10 on goal, to Brooklyn's nine shots, one on goal. Allah Morad finished the game with two goals and eight shots (five on goal) while Roberts ended with four shots (one on goal) and an assist.
Steven Merino earned the shutout in the goal for the Bloodhounds, making one save on the day.
John Jay returns to action on Saturday, October 23 at noon when they will face Berkeley College (N.J.) in the final home contest of the season.
