Newark, N.J.— The John Jay men's tennis team picked up a win on Thursday afternoon as the Bloodhounds defeated Rutgers-Newark 9-0 at the Golden Dome Courts on the Rutgers-Newark campus.

John Jay won all sets in singles, including Ben Jorgensen who was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 3. Derrick Chung was almost as perfect winning at No. 6-1, 6-0. Dong Shao was a winner at No. 2 6-1, 6-1.

At No. 1 doubles, Chung and Shao were perfect winning 8-0.

John Jay returns to action on Tue. April 6 at York College at 3:30 p.m.
