Flushing, N.Y.— The John Jay men's tennis team, for the second time this season, made a clean sweep of its opponent as the Bloodhounds defeated Albertus Magnus College 9-0 at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Wednesday.
With the win, John Jay is now 6-1. Earlier in the day, the Bloodhounds rewarded a 5-4 victory over Baruch from Tuesday's match

The Bloodhounds made quick work of the opponent as
Stephen Walz (Ramsey, NJ, Ramsey) and
Kelvin Rodriguez (Bronx, NY, Bronx Law, Government & Justice) were an 8-0 winner at No. 3 doubles, while
Ben Jorgensen (New York, NY, Wooster) and
Josh Pagan (Douglaston, NY, Benjamin Cardozo) were almost as flawless, winning 8-1 at No. 2.
In singles play, Rodriguez was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 6, Walz was a 6-0, 6-1 victor at No. 4 and Pagan won 6-1, 6-1 at No 1.
John Jay returns to action on Fri. Apr. 16 at Lehman College at 3:30 p.m.
