Men's Tennis Remains Undefeated, Defeats York 6-3

Jamaica, N.Y.— The John Jay men's tennis team remained undefeated this season and picked up their first conference win of 2010 with a 6-3 win at York College on Tuesday afternoon.

With the win, John Jay is now 3-0 (1-0 CUNYAC) this season.

After defaulting on all doubles matches, the Bloodhounds made a clean sweep in singles, winning all of them.

Ben Jorgensen, playing No. 2 singles for the first time this season was a 6-0, 6-1 winner, while at No. 3 Stephen Walz won 6-1, 6-0.

All singles were straight set wins.

John Jay is back in action on Thu. Apr. 8 for a home match against the City College of New York, 3:30 p.m. at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
