Wayne, N.J.— The John Jay women's soccer team lost to William Paterson University, 8-1 on Monday afternoon.
The loss drops the Bloodhounds to 4-12-0 overall this season.
The host Pioneers outshot John Jay 51-2, including 30-2 in shots on goal.
The Bloodhounds lone goal came midway through the eighty-fifth minute on a strike by
Bergelie Louis when John Jay was already trailing 6-0.
Marcelina Kopec made a carrer-high 22 saves in the loss.
William Paterson got two goals from Erika Juricic in the game.
John Jay is back in action on Saturday October 22 at NYU-Polytechnic at 3 p.m.
