Danbury, Conn.— The John Jay men's tennis team was defeated by Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) 7-2 on Wednesday afternoon.

With the loss, John Jay is now 1-2 overall this season.

Erkut Cakmak won at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1, while at No. 3 singles Andreas Pantaloukas was a 7-5, 6-0 winner.
