Bronx, N.Y.— The John Jay men's soccer team lost a conference match on Monday evening as the Bloodhounds lost to Lehman College 2-1 at Lehman's South Field.
The Bloodhounds were outshot 20-10 overall in the contest, including a 10-3 differential in the first half.
The host Lightning took a 1-0 lead at halftime by scoring the only goal in the first half at 13:18 on a strike by Carlos Ribeiro.
John Jay evened the score early in the second half on a goal by
Christian Munoz at 57:22.
The game remained tied until late in the eighty-fifth minute on a goal by Thaddeus Ikwuka at 84:54.
The loss gave John Jay its first loss in conference play this season as the Bloodhounds are now 1-8-2 this season.
