Little Falls, N.J.— The John Jay women's soccer team lost to Montclair State on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 8-0.
With the loss, John Jay is now 1-2-0 on the season.
Montclair State limited the Bloodhounds to no shots in the contest as the Red Hawks outshot John Jay 29-0 in the contest. Montclair State took 24 shots in the first half and led 6-0 at halftime.
Marcelina Kopec made 10 saves for the Bloodhounds.
John Jay is back in action on Saturday for its first CUNYAC contest of the season against the City College of New York on Randall's Island at 12:30 p.m.
