BROOKLYN, N.Y.— The John Jay women's soccer team was defeated by Richard Stockton College, 7-0, in a non conference affair Monday evening against Richard Stockton College at Aviator Field.
The loss drops John Jay to 4-11-0 overall this season, while Richard Stockton is now 13-2-2.
The host Ospreys scored four goals in the first half and three more in the second half en route to the seven-goal win. Richard Stockton College outshot John Jay 31-1, including 19-1 in the first half and 12-0 in the second half.
Six players scored goals for the Ospreys, including a pair from Anita Lato and one each from Jacque Becker, Devon Betsch, Rachel Copare, Amanda Magana and Lexi Stasi.
John Jay's lone shot came in the first minute from
Tatiana Ambarsom.
Andrea Antoni made nine saves for John Jay.
