MASPETH, N.Y.— The John Jay men's soccer defeated Hunter College 1-0 at the Metropolitan Oval on Monday evening.
 
The win improves John Jay to 3-6-3 (2-1-2 CUNYAC), while Hunter College is now 1-8-2 (1-1-2 CUNYAC).
 
The lone goal of the game came via Korede Griffith early in the second half with assists coming from Jesus Lugo and Justin Osorio.
 
John Jay outshot Hunter 23-10 in the contest, including 12-2 in the first half.
 
Vitecha Kochaon made four saves for John Jay.
