Ratko Rakocevic offering the assist. Then
Korede Griffith put home a rebound off
Jesus Lugo's free kick at 26:28 to provide John Jay a 3-0 lead.

John Jay went into halftime up 3-1.
Lehman edged closer in the second half with another goal as Irving Posada put one home at the 53:11 mark as Lehman was suddenly down just 3-2.
But strong second half defense, backed by several key saves by John Jay starting goalkeeper
Vitecha Kochaon kept the Lightning from striking again as the early 3-0 Bloodhound lead proved large enough to suffice.

Lehman outshot John Jay 16-13 in the contest, which included several kicks from deep as the Lightning played from behind.
