Lehman opened the second half on a 10-4 run to take a 20-point lead with less than two minutes gone by.

The Lightning maintained a sizable lead most of the second half and led by as much as 21. But the Bloodhounds did not go away and put a dent into the Lehman lead. Down 74-53, John Jay raced off on an 18-4 run to cut the deficit to just seven with 1:23 remaining.

But the deficit proved a little too much to overcome as the clock expired and Lehman held on.
