VALHALLA, N.Y.— The John Jay women's soccer team was defeated by the College of Mount Saint Vincent (CMSV) 2-0 in a match played on the campus of Westchester Community College Wednesday afternoon.
The host Dolphins scored the game's lone two goals in the first half. CMSV took the lead early in the twenty-first minute with a goal by Ashley Mars, then went up 2-0 with another goal in the thirty-sixth minute by Allison Bhadai.
CMSV outshot the Bloodhounds 20-3 in the contest, including 12-2 in the first half and 8-1 in the second half.
John Jay's
Bergelie Louis,
Samantha Guillen and
Amy Samayoa took one shot each in the contest.
Andrea Antoni made 10 saves for the Bloodhounds.
John Jay returns to action on Saturday with a match against Medgar Evers College at 9:30 a.m. at Aviator Field.
