RESULTS
New York, N.Y – The John Jay women's swim team was defeated by Brooklyn College at John Jay Pool 56-39 on Tuesday evening.
With the loss, the Bloodhounds falls to 2-5 (2-4 CUNYAC), this season, while Brooklyn improves to 6-5 (3-3 CUNYAC).
The Bulldogs took first place in all but three events for the evening.
John Jay came in first place in three events, including the 100 Yard Freestyle where
Vanessa Toro-Plaza finished in 1:07.93, the 500 Yard Freestyle where Opal Getganipak finished in 7:22.74, and the 100 Yard Breaststroke as Vickie G Hsieh finished the race in 1:24.63.
John Jay returns to action on Fri. Jan. 25 at the College of New Rochelle at 6 p.m.
