Women’s Soccer Falls to Ramapo College

Box Score The women's soccer team was defeated by Ramapo College, 9-0, on Wednesday night in New Jersey. With the loss, the Bloodhounds are now 4-13 overall (3-3 in CUNYAC) and the Roadrunners improve to 7-9.

Ramapo scored four goals in the first half as four different players each scored a goal, putting them up 4-0 going into the second half. In the second half, the Roadrunners added five more goals as Nicole Ninomiya earned her first career hat trick.

On the other side, sophomore goalkeeper Andrea Antoni recorded 22 saves for the Bloodhounds.

"Andrea had a great game for us," head coach Kamal Haruna said. "We knew going into the game it was going to be a tough one."

The Bloodhounds play their last game of the 2013 season on Wednesday, October for a non-conference match against St. Joseph's College(Brooklyn) at Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn at 7:00pm.
