Box Score The men's soccer team defeated Medgar Evers, 8-0, in their last match of the 2013 season on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Bloodhounds finish with a 4-13-1 overall record (4-4 in CUNYAC) and the Cougars fall to 1-11 on the season (0-8 in CUNYAC). 

John Jay had three players score two goals; Junior's Drew Guerra and Christian Munoz and freshman Gerardo Flores-Ramirez.

Senior Besian Shala finished his career with a goal and junior Pablo Rojas recorded the other goal. Rojas also registered two assists and junior Vitecha Kochaon recorded the shutout with one save. 

"Hopefully this match will give us some momentum for the postseason," head coach Nathan Bell said. "We will be working hard at practice this week in anticipation for CSI." 

The #5 Bloodhounds will head to #4 Staten Island for a quarterfinals matchup on Wednesday, October 30. 

The complete tournament schedule will be announced on Monday.
