Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y.— For the second consecutive day, the John Jay men's tennis team picked up a 9-0 win over a conference team as the Bloodhounds beat Brooklyn College by that score on Friday afternoon at the Roosevelt Tennis Courts on the Brooklyn College campus.
 
The win improves the Bloodhounds to 2-1 (2-0 CUNYAC) this season. Brooklyn College is now 0-1 (0-1 CUNYAC).
 
After sweeping doubles play to take a 3-0 advantage, John Jay earned three 6-0, 6-0 wins. Erkut Cakmak earned a clean sweep at No. 1 singles to improve to 3-0 (2-0 CUNYAC) this season. Meanwhile at No. 4 singles, Stephen Walz earned a pair of shutout victories, while at the No. 6 position, Frontisek Demek followed suit and won by the same scores.
 
John Jay is back in action on Tuesday March 26 for a game against Baruch College at the York College Tennis Complex at 3:30 p.m.
