Women's Tennis Drops Match to Pratt Institute

Box Score The women's tennis team fell to Pratt Institute, 8-1, on Wednesday evening at the USTA National Tennis Center. The Bloodhounds fall to 1-5 (1-1 in CUNYAC) in 2013 while the Cannoneers improve to 2-0.

The Bloodhounds lone win came at number three doubles when sophomores Jessica Melchiorre and Natalie Cervantes won 8-6.

"Tonight was a tough night for the team," head coach Lauren Mallon said. "We have a tough match against Brooklyn on Friday and we will be ready for them."
