Box Score The women's tennis team dropped its match, 8-1, to Brooklyn College on Friday afternoon at the Roosevelt Courts in Brooklyn. The Bloodhounds fall to 1-6 (1-2 in CUNYAC) while the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 5-0 (2-0 in CUNYAC).
John Jay's lone win came at number one doubles when the combo of sophomore
Armine Kurkjian and freshman
Gabriela Baez defeated the Bulldogs number one doubles tandem.
"Brooklyn is a tough team and we knew that going in," head coach
Lauren Mallon said. "We need to regroup as a team and come out strong against Lehman."
