Box Score The women's tennis team dropped its match, 8-1, to Brooklyn College on Friday afternoon at the Roosevelt Courts in Brooklyn. The Bloodhounds fall to 1-6 (1-2 in CUNYAC) while the Bulldogs remain undefeated at 5-0 (2-0 in CUNYAC). 

John Jay's lone win came at number one doubles when the combo of sophomore Armine Kurkjian and freshman Gabriela Baez defeated the Bulldogs number one doubles tandem. 

"Brooklyn is a tough team and we knew that going in," head coach Lauren Mallon said. "We need to regroup as a team and come out strong against Lehman."

The Bloodhounds have three matches on tap for next week with the first one on Tuesday, September 24 against Lehman College. The match is scheduled for a 3:30pm start time and will be played at the USTA National Tennis Center.
