Box Score The John Jay women's tennis team was defeated in its season opener, 9-0, against the Farmingdale Rams. The Bloodhounds fall to 0-1 while the Rams improve to 1-0 on the season. John Jay is back in action for their first home match on Friday at 5:00pm at Randall's Island.

"Going into Farmingdale we knew what we were up against but that did not detour us from playing at our best and our hardest," first-year head coach Lauren Mallon said. "We go into our future matches hopeful and excited for victories to come."
