Women's Swimming Defeats College of St. Elizabeth

The women's swimming team picks up another win as the Bloodhounds improved to 4-1 (2-0 in CUNYAC) on the season. John Jay defeated the College of St. Elizabeth, 54-26 on Tuesday evening in Morristown, NJ. The College of St. Elizabeth falls to 0-3 on the season.

Out of 11 events on the night, the Bloodhounds finished with five first-place touches. John Jay touched first in both relay events of the night as they finished the 200 LC Meter Medley Relay in 2:37.35 and in the final relay of the night, they finished 20 seconds ahead of CSE with a time of 2:04.03.

Bokey Wong continues to dominate in the pool as she finished first in the 200 LC Meter Freestyle with a time of 2:18.07 and in the 100 LC Meter Butterfly in 1:09.59. Wong also had a second place finish in the 100 LC Meter Breaststroke with a time of 1:16.03. Alyssa DeVito touched first in the 1000 LC Meter Freestyle in 13:52.87 and came in second place in the 500 LC Meter Freestyle with a time of 6:37.47.

The Bloodhounds look to remain undefeated in CUNYAC as they take on the Dolphins of CSI tomorrow night at 6 pm at the John Jay Pool.
