Women's Basketball Cruises by Medgar Evers In Home Season Finale

The women's basketball team defeated Medgar Evers, 68-32, on Wednesday afternoon at the Doghouse. With the win, the Bloodhounds improve to 9-14 overall and 7-7 in CUNYAC. The Cougars fall to 2-20 on the season and 0-14 in the conference. 

Senior Jamecia Forsythe recorded her sixth straight double-double with a game-high 21 points and 12 points. Sophomore Tamara Jones registered a game-high 15 rebounds to go along with eight points, two assists, and two steals off the bench. Junior Sherrice Marshall picked up 11 boards, three assists, and three steals. Junior Tyana Hale had two blocks and junior Sandy Requeno recorded her first four points of her collegiate career. 

Cougars' Nia Tompkins registered a team-high eight points and Jasmine Dossou picked up a team-high 11 rebounds. 

The Bloodhounds will head to Lehman College on Friday, February 14, for a conference game at 5pm.
