The baseball team lost to the College of Mount Saint Vincent, 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon at Randall's Island in New York, NY. The Bloodhounds fall to 1-8 overall while the Dolphins improve to 5-6.Â

Esteban Soler picked up stolen bases. Soler is now 11-for-11 in stolen bases on the season.Â

Matthew Quirindongo got the start for the Bloodhounds and the Brooklyn native threw 6.1 innings, allowing nine hits, five hits, and struck out a season-high nine. Junior
Michael Fabre pitched in relief and struck out three batters in 1.1 innings.Â
Mount Saint Vincent's Jason Rivera led the way going 2-for-2 three RBI's, three walks, and two runs. Chris Sideli went 3-for-5 with three RBI's. Zahedi Castillo and Evan Brown threw a combined seven shutout innings and allowed three hits.Â
The Bloodhounds are back in action on Sunday, March 23, at 12:00pm for a doubleheader against Maritime College.Â
