Box Score 2 The baseball team fell to St. Joseph's College - Brooklyn, 13-1 and 9-2, in a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn, NY. The Bloodhounds drop to 3-18 overall. The Bears improve to 14-8 on the season.
In game one, St. Joseph's scored two runs in the first and seven runs two innings later to lead 9-0 after three innings. The Bloodhounds finally got on the scoreboard in the top of the fifth inning when junior

The Bears added a combined four runs in the fifth and sixth innings. The Bloodhounds scored a run in the top of the 7th when freshman
Brian Cabral walked with the bases loaded. St. Joseph's would go on to win game one, 13-1.
Sophomore
Joe Jacobsen finished with two hits. Sophomore
Esteban Soler swiped three bases and a run scored. Rivera registered a double and stolen base.
St. Joseph's Mitch Brigando picked up the victory after tossing five innings and allowing five hits, one run, and struck out five. Mike Cundari went 3-for-3 with two runs scored, one stolen base, and an RBI.
In game two, the Bears scored in every inning except the first. After the fourth inning, the home team led 7-0. Down by nine runs in the last inning, senior
Ronald Barillas recorded an RBI single after Soler led off with a double. The Bears won the second game by a score of 9-1.
Barillas went 3-for-4 and sophomore
Nick Gioia and Soler had two hits each. Junior
Erik Pratz recorded one hit and one stolen base.
The Bloodhounds will face NYU Poly on Tuesday, April 15, at 6:00pm for a single game at Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, NY.
