Box Score The baseball team defeated Yeshiva University, 15-3, on Monday night in Palisades, NJ. With the win, the Bloodhounds improve to 6-22 on the season. The Maccabees drop to 0-26 overall.
John Jay scored two runs in the first inning but Yeshiva cut the deficit to one in the bottom of the second. In the next frame, the Bloodhounds broke open the game by scoring six runs on four hits. Junior

Shaun Gutkin drove in a run, and sophomore
Joe Jacobsen registered an RBI groundout.
The Bloodhounds added one run in the fourth, five in the fifth, and one in the sixth to take the nonconference contest by a score of 15-3.
Senior
Ronald Barillas finished with three hits, three runs scored, one RBI, and two stolen bases. Amarante picked up three hits, four RBI's, and one stolen base. Sophomore
Esteban Soler went 2-for-2 with four runs scored, two RBI's, and four stolen bases.
Freshman
Charles Mendes recorded the win, logging five innings, allowing four hits, three runs, and struck out seven. Freshman
Michael Wang threw a scoreless inning in relief.
The Bloodhounds will face Baruch College on Thursday, May 1, for a doubleheader starting at 3:00pm.
