Box Score The women's tennis team shutout York College, 9-0, on Friday afternoon at Queens College. The Bloodhounds improve to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Cardinals fall to 0-2 on the season and 0-1 in CUNYAC. 

In doubles, the tandems of Bernarda Reyes/Ashlynne O'Brien and Jessica Melchiorre/Natalie Cervantes both defeated their opponents, 8-0. In #2 doubles, Gabriela Baez and Precious Riddick won, 8-2. 

With the Bloodhounds leading 3-0 heading into singles play, John Jay's Baez, Riddick, Cervantes, and Melchiorre recorded 6-0, 6-0 victories.
